POST CARDS - The New POWER in Direct Mail

Classical direct mail with a four-color multi-page brochure with or
without an envelope and heavy-duty postage is expensive and usually the results are disappointing. Customers have "wizened up" and can spot them a mile away. Who wants to open the envelope, read the brochure and find out they are not interested? A waste of time! They get put off of even looking at the next piece. Result - expensive work gets tossed without being read! YOUR marketing dollars are wasted.

Enter the post card. They are quick and economical to produce. Better yet, a quick read for the customer. In fact, if the text is brief and to the point, it is impossible for the reader not to get your message.

Marion recently produced an opt-in newsletter to remind a client’s
customers of a regularly scheduled monthly service that he provided.
The newsletter also referenced his new services. The emails came from three sources:

1) Visitors to his Website who filled in a simple form to request alerts
announcing the date of the monthly service two weeks in advance of the actual event.
2) Leads harvested from his site. Marion reviews and archives
copies of all leads coming from this site to track site activity,
to measure conversions (see below), and to archive for security.
3) His database of all customers, current and PAST, taken from his Outlook.

The total list was 750 e-mails.

The results were phenomenal. Not only was his monthly service booked
completely, customers from whom he not heard for a long time were
calling for his new services. He is now thinking of adding more staff to
handle the increased load.
