Marketing in Motion
Gabbanelli Accordions approached Marion with the task of developing a website that would reflect the quality of the Gabbanelli product line. The new website has 25 pages in both English and Spanish. The client was so pleased with the design that they also hired us to produce their 2008 catalog brochure. Graphically complementing the website, the brochure looks like an accordion and even has “accordion” folds.
We could not resist having some fun with the design. Check out the video of what we did.

Marion has a systematic naming process to come up with names for products, companies, book titles, etc. One of our clients in Monterrey, Mexico, Deacero Fence, needed a new name for one of their fence products. The product name had to appeal to architects while also suggesting security. Marion’s creative team brainstormed about a hundred names, narrowed that list down and then created a survey to give to architects who then rated the top 16 names based on specific attributes. The winner was DesignMaster!

We developed multiple options and after a few

Google’s new Universal search is changing the way internet users view search results. Now, instead of just “Plain Jane” web pages in search results, searchers are beginning to see news articles, photos, book results, images, video, and local listings with maps. To keep rankings high on Google, web developers now need to incorporate videos and blogs, be meticulous with naming images and making sure they are listed correctly on Google maps.

Nailing a Unique Marketing Message
Marion recently launched a revised website for Dr. Michel Siegel who specializes in cosmetic surgery of the face, nose and neck. Since this market is so competitive, the Marion Group developed a unique marketing strategy to promote his most popular facelift procedure - a mini face lift that takes only 45 minutes using only local anesthetic and leaving such minimal bruising that patients can be back to work in 48 to 72 hours. This sounding perfect for the busy professional, we named it the Executive Face Lift. The doctor liked it immediately. So Marion created a focused internet marketing campaign for Executive Lift that included optimizing the page for search engines, creating and broadcasting a news release, purchasing ads on Google and Yahoo, and in the future, we will produce a video. The effort is starting to pay off and Dr.Siegel is doing more and more Executive Face Lifts.

“When
I come to the game, I come to play.”
There could be no truer statement for VP of Sales, Brian
Waraksa. A key player at the Marion Group, there isn’t a time when Brian isn’t wearing his game face. Since starting with the Marion Group in 2004 as an Account Executive, Brian’s ability to initiate, build, and maintain relationships with customers has played a large role in his success and in the success of the Marion Group. Responsible for managing a variety of accounts, such as Aggreko, Parker Drilling, and Christus Health, Brian “coaches” projects from beginning to end, providing creative direction, project management, and proudly presenting award winning results for each client. Also
looking for new ways to improve himself and The Marion Group,
Brian knows that sometimes you have to throw the game plan out
the window and roll with the punches to produce results and come
out on top.
As an avid Steelers and Red Sox fan, Brian is also ready to play
when he’s away from the office, either cheering on his team, or training in Muay Thai Boxing. This year, Brian started his MLB ball park tour in Bean Town as he went to cheer on his team, the Boston Red Sox. He plans on visiting a different park each year to experience “game time” in
major baseball cities.
