To reflect their international growth, Occucare called upon The Marion Group to help them with brand positioning, updating their image, logo, web content, and a new structure for their website; a totally integrated package.

With all of the medical requirements for Americans working abroad, it was important to create a website that makes it easy for clients to find the information they need quickly and easily. That considered, Marion created a structure for their website that focuses on three main channels: US Medical Services, International Medical Services, Travel Medicine and OGUK Offshore Oil & Gas.

Occucare also wanted to bring attention to their unique capabilities, such as mobile response anywhere in the US within 24 to 48 hours, and their ability to respond to needs Internationally. With growing demand for Occucare’s services overseas, they have partnered with Gulf Healthcare International to open Occupational Health International. Located in Dubai, OHI is the first dedicated occupational health facility in the UAE. Marion standardized the two brands for seamless online integration.

Occucare International is a family owned and operated occupational health service provider founded by Dr. Jerry McShane. Their headquarters are located in Houston, Texas with additional offices in Beaumont and Deer Park, Texas.

Forum Energy Technologies (FET) is rapidly expanding its oilfield related products and technical services. This activity has led to a few growing pains, so FET called on Marion-the experts in Interactive Marketing-to pull all of those new acquisitions into one seamless and consistent online presence.

The process didn’t come without challenges. First, Marion had to create a logical structure for the site. Starting with the development of a new sitemap, Marion began hammering out a strategy by which customers could quickly access relevant information while maintaining a consistent brand message throughout the site. Right from their home page, you’ll find an intuitive slide show and easy-to-navigate graphic presentation of FET’s products and technologies, and the ability to quickly search their extensive content. Marion has created over 500 pages for FET, and as new brands are acquired, they will be brought into the fold.

Just as Marion prides itself on being a full-service agency, FET is set to become the full service onshore and offshore oilfield services company. From their subsea technologies like the ROV, to drilling, to production, FET’s lengthy list of capabilities continues to grow.

Also, see our portfolio of Custom Web Designs.

In the midst of this, you’ll probably realize one of the hardest concepts of social media is not the ‘HOW,” but the ‘WHY”. One step at a time folks, starting with Twitter.

The Twitter Breakdown

THE HOW

1. Engage –Marion recommends, to have a solid twitter foundation and worthwhile engagement, you should spend a minimum of four hours a week tweeting. It’s important to participate. Don’t be the person at the party that can’t hold a conversation OR the one with nothing more to offer than “uh huh” and a fake laugh, i.e. LOL-ing every comment.

There are groups on twitter for nearly every imaginable industry which means there’s most likely a waiting audience for your business. Get engaged with a group by using hashtags and you will find that the recommend four hours per week can move very quickly.

2. Tweet/Retweet Links – Tweeting and retweeting links to your site is a free referral. Referring people to your site is always a good thing. Just remember, when you become too much of a good thing you’re called SPAM.

3. Reciprocate – If people follow you, follow them back. If they mention you in a specific tweet, mention them back. Twitter is about information sharing so be sure to give as well as receive.

…AND WHY??

Twitter is your opportunity to interact with the public. You may have access to current and potential customers, employees and their friends and family, giving you a unique opportunity to get to know your audience and let them get to know you. In other words, Twitter is the perfect avenue for developing brand loyalty.

These are just a few recommendations. There’s a ton of uses for Twitter and social media in general. It’s all about your strategy that drives your SMM plan.
